The Rev. Deacon Summer Gross was born in Genoa, Italy and loves nothing better than to feed her husband and three children heaps of pasta laced with pesto. After receiving a BA in English from Asbury University, and then spending a semester at the Swiss L'Abri, she put her husband through college working as a writer for an architectural firm. Both she and her husband received Masters of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary, were chaplains at Duke Medical Center, and then were ordained in 2003. For ten years they worked together at a church Michigan and then they established Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Summer is a spiritual director and has been ministering through healing care (otherwise known as inner healing) ministries for the past six years.
